• Maximum Jar Height: 6″ length wicks are suited for containers up to ~5″ tall. This gives you plenty of length to work with; you can use CD-6 in deeper jars (like those medium mason jars) and still have room to trim the wick for safe burning.

• Wax Compatibility: Works reliably with both vegetable (soy, coconut-soy blends) and paraffin waxes. The CD-6 is designed to maintain a consistent burn even with higher viscosity waxes and higher fragrance loads, making it a good all-around wick for different wax types.

Usage Instructions: Center the CD-6 wick at the bottom of your container (use a wick sticker or a dot of hot glue to keep it in place). Support the wick upright (you can use a wick bar or even a clothespin across the jar top) and pour in your melted wax. Once the candle has fully cooled and solidified, trim the wick down to ~1/4″. Perform a test burn on your finished candle to ensure CD-6 is the right choice – if the candle doesn’t burn evenly to the edges or if the flame is too weak/strong, consider adjusting wick size for future batches. With proper trimming and testing, CD-6 wicks will give you a strong, even burn in your candles.
