Intro: WW-2 Medium Crackle wicks are 3/8″ wide wooden wicks designed for small-to-medium containers (about 2–2.5″ diameter). They produce a slightly brighter flame and crackle than WW-1, while still being beginner-friendly. This Soy Wax series wick is formulated to perform well in soy candles, ensuring a steady burn in soy, paraffin, or blended waxes. Use WW-2 wicks in travel tins, small jars, or any candle that needs a bit more flame presence than the tiniest wicks.

• Warm Crackling Sound: Creates a pleasant medium crackle – noticeable enough to enhance atmosphere, yet still gentle and soothing.

• Optimal for ~2–2.5″ Jars: Sized for small jar candles and tins, it helps achieve a full melt pool in containers up to about 2.5″ wide.

• Clean Burning: Little to no soot or char when properly trimmed, so your candle glass stays cleaner (no mushrooming or excessive carbon).

• Versatile with Waxes: Specially suited for soy wax’s cooler, slower burn, but also effective in paraffin, coconut, palm, or blended wax candles.

• No Wick Curling: The rigid wooden strip stays straight—no bending or curling—making setup easy and ensuring an even flame every time.

Usage Instructions:

1. Secure in Clip: Slide the WW-2 wick into a metal wick clip (sold separately). Adhere the clip to your container’s center base using a dot of hot glue or wick sticker. The universal clip fits this 3/8″ wick snugly.

2. Pour and Set: Pour your melted candle wax and hold the wick upright for a moment if needed. The wooden wick will remain upright on its own (it won’t flop like a cotton wick) as the wax sets.

3. Trim Before Burning: For best results, trim the wick to ~1/8–3/16″ height above the wax each time before lighting. Removing the charred portion helps the wick relight easily.

4. Burn Properly: Light the wick end and let the candle burn until the melt pool reaches the jar’s edges. This prevents tunneling and maximizes the crackle and scent throw. Extinguish, let cool, then repeat trimming for the next use.

WW-2 wicks offer a perfect balance of flame and sound for small jar candles – an excellent choice when you want a bit more crackle in a soy wax candle without an oversized flame.
